Timber

All of our timber furniture is made with a selection of hardwoods as displayed below.  We mainly use Australian hardwoods that have been harvested from renewable plantation forests.  These are just some examples of the timbers that we use.  Other timbers (depending on availability) can include Stringy Bark, Spotted Gum, Blackbutt, New Zealand Beechwood, American Oak and American Walnut.  We make our timber furniture with hardwood as it is more durable than soft wood (such as pine), and will therefore last much longer.   Please note that our table, buffet and chest of drawer tops are crafted by butting solid timber planks together to make one piece.  Single “slabs” of timber are not used by Aarons Furniture.  Please visit our showroom to see furniture made in these timbers, other timber samples and timbers that have been given decorative finishes and stains.

Please note that these samples should be used as a rough guide only.  Colour and grain variations are very likely when working with solid timbers.
